SUIT THE BREAK

SUNNIES ILLESTEVA

EARRINGS APM MONACO

Tailored, oversized, belted…Women’s suits are and always have been here to stay. They’ve had a lasting effect on the fashion industry and have been presented and reinvented in so many different ways, not just for use in the workplace. This one is a vintage Liz Claiborne set I found in Brooklyn’s The Break with perfect shoulder pads and matching shorts. Wear a suit with chunky sneakers or boots for an effortless editorial/street style look. Or even oversized, as seen on the runways of Celine, Balenciaga, Vetements, Eckhaus Latta and Acne Studios – which I personally love. Oh, and then there’s the hair tuck. My hair is finally long enough to do the hair tuck, people lol!

Yesi and I found this old vintage TV thrown out somewhere in Little Havana, and lo and behold, we had our shoot location.
