Break on through to the other side, of the looking glass…
Brought this mirror as a simple prop, yet it helped create magical things. Inspired by Alice In Wonderland, I wanted to evoke a feeling of stepping into another universe – one that’s barren and desolate, and all sorts of moody. Stripes on stripes adds a little whimsy, paired with my natural state of being (aka languorous), and we’ve achieved a dream…through the looking glass.
About the look: I’m obsessed with this Simonett (fka Style Mafia) top which served as the first piece the outfit was styled around. The pants are old Zara and can be styled a variety of ways – with sneakers as depicted here, or over your swimsuit/bodysuit with a pair of flatform wedges. On to the shoes – these Nike Cortez are one of my fave pairs of sneakers (that’s a lie, I’ve become a sneakerhead and actually love every single pair I own) because they go with everythingggg and are comfy AF.
